Week 13 picks - Special Thanksgiving Part 1 Edition

Well, gobble gobble, Americans! It's the greatest holiday of them all - Thanksgiving! The NFL, in its benevolence, gives us now THREE games on Thanskgiving day, so we barely even have to speak to our relatives anymore while working off our turkey comas. USA! USA! USA! Onto the Thanksgiving day picks!

Thursday 11/28

Green Bay at Detroit

Well, Aaron Rodgers isn't back yet, and the Lions must be PISSED after losing to the Bucs last week, although in fairness, the Bucs have been downright respectable lately since a) getting rid of Josh Freeman and b) getting rid of that cool staph infection epidemic. You'd have to think that the Lions will still be able to outgun the Packers in this game, despite the awful coaching of Jim Schwartz. Seriously, if there's an NFL coach that does less with more than that guy, I've yet to see him.

Lions 27
Packers 24

Oakland at Dallas

Well, Dallas should be feeling pretty good about themselves since basically ending the Giants' hopes of a miracle turnaround last week (thank GOD), but the Raiders are so unpredictable that I wouldn't be surprised if they marched into Big D and won. Still, you'd have to think that with the way Romo is playing right now, the Cowboys will be able to win this game over Oakland and their neophyte rookie Penn State quarterback. Right? Right.

Cowboys 31
Raiders 20

Pittsburgh at Baltimore

Don't feel too good about yourselves, Ravens defense - the Jets are terrible. Big Ben is going to light you up.

Steelers 28
Ravens 17

Last week: 7-6-1 (yes, I'm giving myself a tie for the Vikes-Packers tie. Deal with it)
Season: 107-67-1

"Oh no, oh no, Leon Lett!" Ah, Thanksgiving memories.
